Does something appear not quite right with your website? Perhaps there are images not displaying or a font doesn’t look right? It might just be a quick and easy fix! The first thing you should try is to clear WP-Rocket cache. We have step by step instructions in the above video or detailed text explanation below.
Clearing the website cache is often the answer to fixing a broken website before going to the expense of getting your web developer to fix it for you.
1Log into the backend of your website by pasting the login URL into the search bar, this will load the login page. Enter your username and password, then click Log in.
2Once you are logged into the backend (dashboard) of your website, navigate to the top of the page and you will see ‘WP Rocket’ in white text in the black bar that runs along the top of the page.
3Just hover your cursor over ‘WP Rocket’ and a dropdown menu will appear. Scroll down and click on ‘Clear cache’, this will clear the WP-Rocket cache and should only take about a second or two.
4Now navigate back along the black bar and click on the website name (far left). This will launch the website Home page, now go through the site thoroughly to make sure everything is working as it should be. If you find the problem persists, clear the WP-Rocket cache a second time as they can become a bit sticky. If the problem is still there after you clear WP-Rocket cache twice, it’s time to call to your web developer.
Thats all there is to it! A very simple, often successful process that’s very handy to know as it could save you time and a bit of cash.
